Ledger Live Login: access your wallet with care
Getting into your portfolio should begin with a few deliberate checks—not a search result or a message promising urgent help.
Ledger Live is a companion app for managing supported crypto assets with a Ledger hardware wallet. To begin, use Ledger’s official website to find the current desktop or mobile app. Check the address, avoid lookalike links, and keep device firmware and app up to date.
Open the app and connect or pair your Ledger device according to its instructions. Unlock the device with its PIN; the app may ask you to open an asset application on the device. Your recovery phrase is not a login credential. Never type those words into Ledger Live, a browser page, a support chat, or a form. Anyone requesting them is trying to control your wallet.
Before approving a transaction, inspect the recipient address and amount on the hardware wallet screen. A computer can display misleading information, so the device confirmation matters. Understand network fees and the destination before signing; blockchain transfers are difficult or impossible to reverse.
If something feels wrong, stop. Close suspicious pages, do not install remote-access tools for support, and use official Ledger support channels directly. Protect your device PIN, store recovery words offline in a secure place, and share neither. Habits make self-custody understandable—and help keep decisions in your hands.
